Going Somewhere - Leanne Higgins
£750.00
"Going Somewhere" is a striking original mixed media artwork (150x100cm) by Isle of Man artist Leanne Higgins, created as part of her solo exhibition 'Meticulously Abstract' at the prestigious Hodgson Loom Gallery. Like Dorothy's journey in The Wizard of Oz, this piece represents the idea that sometimes we need to get lost to find our way home - a sentiment that resonated deeply during its creation.
At one and a half metres tall and one metre wide, this vertical piece embodies both physical and metaphorical journey. Created following an invitation from respected Manx artist Julia Ashby-Smyth to present a solo show at the historic Laxey Woollen Mills, the artwork itself became part of Leanne's own yellow brick road of artistic discovery.
An opportunity for collectors to own a major work that speaks to the universal experience of finding one's path. Its substantial height creates a dramatic presence, perfect for spaces that demand both physical and emotional impact.
